The Seam
The Seam — This painting explores the balance between stillness and strength.
The vast white space creates a sense of breath, calm, and openness, while the sharp black strokes bring power, movement, and presence.
The touches of gold hidden among the black and gray symbolize, for me, the precious things that often reveal themselves through contrast and difficult periods.
This painting is about the ability to find beauty and balance even where light and darkness meet.
